Almost every time I go past this place I wonder what it looks like inside. I know that it's an old movie theater, which you can kind of tell from the outside. I used to work at a Marcus Theatre in my hometown and one of the assistant managers there told me that she used to work at this theater (at least I'm pretty sure that's what she told me). I could not find out whether or not it used to be owned by Marcus or really what kind of theater it was at all. I would love to be able to go inside and explore.
Corner of Meinecke and Bremen
On my walk I noticed this building because it looked like it should have been a bar or a corner store in a mostly residential area, but there were no signs on the doors or windows. I noticed that I thought this because of the way the front door is at the corner of the building, which is the way a lot of neighborhood bars look. The windows were interesting too. When I passed it on my walk, there was a huge flag in the second story windows. I don't remember what it was exactly, it might have just been the U.S. flag.
