Building #1
Mitchell Building- Milwaukee, WI- 207 E. Michigan Avenue
The building is an example of a high-style, French Second
Empire Style.
Designed by Edward Townsend Mix (1831-1890)
Is used as a commercial building
What makes me curious about it is the high french style found on the upper portion covering
the building. Is very out of place compared to the other buildings of business and commercial shopping
.Building #2
WATERSHED- Milwaukee, WI corner of St. Paul avenue and water
Located in Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward
A mini-museum containing exhibits and information on
The Milwaukee River.
What made me curious is that I have seen it several times but never really took the time to find
out what it really is.
