669 N. Water Street
The reason that I picked this location is because it has been under construction for a really long time. It is interesting how the building is covered in what looks like a giant plastid bag and always want to know is the real purpose of the plastic. I will have to keep a look out for when the plastic is removed to how different the appearance of this building is compared to this picture. I tried to figure out what construction was happening at this sight, but I couldn't find anything online.
218 N. Water Street
The other building that I wanted to know more about was this one that happens to be a piano bar. I always look at this building while waiting at the bus stop. It catches my attention because of the stairs going up the front of the building. Having fire escape stairs on at the front is unique to this building. Why not have it on the side where there is an open alley way or maybe even to the back? For what ever reason these were placed here, I like the unique quality that they give the building.
