Maeve Jackson: Exhibition Locations

Pabst Brewery Parking Structure (near Best Place)

This is a location in a historic park of Milwaukee.  I really think this place would be amazing because there are multiple spaces to inhabit.  There is a small enclosed space on ground level in the parking structure that has large windows.  The large window let the public have access to seeing what is going on and may feel welcomed to enter in. Then there is access to the whole parking structure.  Out side the structure, located next to, there is a plot of land; which could be utilized.  But the best thing is that there is a beautiful view of the city on top of this structure.  We have investigated and explore this city so much, I feel that this location would reflect what we have learned.  A parking structure is a space that is usually over looked.  It would be interesting to inhabit and transform the space.

This is a building that I have known about for a while.  I can not remember what the name of the building is though.  But I know artist and performers have rented out the space for events.  It is a beautiful building. I know there is a gallery in this building.

1303 North 4 th Street - National ACE Hardware

This is an interesting building.  I do not know if this location if even possible but it would be interesting to see if the owners would allow an event is any part of their building that is not being utilized.

135 West Wells Street - Germania Building

This building came up in my research for another building.  It, like the others, is an older historic industrial building.  From the picture it seems that nothing was in the building, but that may have changed.
